Membership Policies

When you join GRIT, you become a member of our community. The Basic and Premium membership options are the most affordable way to get your child moving at GRIT. Your membership starts when you join and renews every four weeks. The recurring billing will automatically be billed for each cycle.

 

There is no contract! Enroll Anytime! Cancel Anytime.

 

GRIT Class Tuition is billed monthly (Every 28 days).


Primary Membership: included one coach-led class per week PLUS Unlimited Practice & Play gym time and 5% off Kid’s Fun, Kid’s Nights, and other events and activities @ GRIT.


Premium Membership: included two coach-led classes per week PLUS Unlimited Practice & Play gym time and 10% off Friday Fun, Kid’s Nights, and other events and
activities @ GRIT.


To ensure that the appropriate number of trained staff is available, drop-ins are not guaranteed a space in class. Classes and events do book up. We encourage members to plan ahead and book their future athlete in classes using our member portal, contacting GRIT, or speaking with our front desk staff to book classes in advance.

Summer Camp Cancelation / Refund Policy

If you register for camp, then you confirm you agree with the terms and conditions set forth:

  • All registrations are final. 

  • Summer 2025 camp tuition is not eligible for credits or refunds.  You must use it before the end of camp.  Missed days are not refundable.   GRIT reserves the right to change camp venue as needed to to provide for a fun, high quality and safe camp experience.  GRIT's main location can be found at 201 Marin Blvd. Jersey City. 

  • There are no partial credits for missed days unless accompanied by a signed doctor's note* with an explanation of the camper's medical condition resulting in their inability to attend camp. Requests for a make-up day after camp day has begun will not be honored unless a doctor's note is provided via email with a request for a make-up day.  Swim instruction will not be included on make-up days due to transportation limitations.

  • Make-up days are not guaranteed and must be scheduled for before the last week of camp at your location, subject to availability.

  • As part of our Buy Now, Save Now, Plan Later program, all requests for changes are allowed until May 15th with one change per family.  All requests must be made in writing to info@gritsportstraining.com.  After May 15th, changes are allowed but are subject to availability with a $50 change fee. Please note that we do this to ensure that we are properly staffed to provide a safe environment for all campers for all camp week

  • There are no partial credits and make-up days are not guaranteed.  We will work with you to reschedule, and if you have not used them up, we will ask you to schedule them for the last week of camp .... subject to availability.  

  • Any Summer Camp Credit (and any credits provided at the sole discretion of GRIT Mgt.)   are subject to a $100 rescheduling fee and must be used in the year of the original purchase. There are no rollovers of any credits for any camp, program, or event to the following year. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Multi-Week Discount

Multi-Week Discount:

  • Multi-week discounts are available for 4+ weeks of full-camp only and cannot be combined with other discount programs or offers.  Discounts are not provided after registration. 

  • Pre-camp registration discounts are not provided for extra weeks purchased after camp begins.  

  • Half-Day Camp is not eligible for multi-week discount programs.

Sibling Discount

A 5% sibling discount is available on a per-child basis and is added automatically at checkout, provided you sign all sibling campers at the same time. 

Our system cannot recognize if you are signing up siblings for different programs and cannot provide a discount.  Please call /text 201-596-6626 with questions. 

Buy Now, Save Now, Plan Later

Save money with early registration!  Register now, and if your plans change, no problem. Each family can change their camp days/ weeks once before May 15th, 2025.  NOTE: All requests must be in writing via email to info@gritsportstraining.com so we can track all requests.   Still, need to make a late plan change?  After May 15th, change requests will incur a small $50 change fee ( to cover administration costs) and are subject to availability.

Lunch / Snacks

For 2025, GRIT will be offering lunch order options for busy parents.  You will be able to order lunch for your camper via our external lunch vendor (Simplygormetlunches.com) or opt to send them to camp with a home-packed lunch & snacks.  We encourage you to send your young camper ample, healthy snacks for the morning and afternoon and lunch to nourish them through the day.  Or purchase a meal through our lunch vendor, SimplyGourmetLunches!  And every Friday is PIZZA DAY!  

Registration Policy

Each camper’s registration requires an initial payment that is non-refundable plus a one-time Annual Summer Camp Registration Fee of $49.  The annual registration fee provides priority access to all GRIT programs.  Payment plans are available.   Contact us about options. 

 

Final tuition is due based upon the payment plan agreed and is non-refundable, regardless of dropouts or reductions in weeks prior to or during the camp season. Days missed due to injury, illness or any other reason may not be “made up” and will not result in a credit or refund unless so directed by management.

Credit Card Processing Fee

Our provider Sawyer charges a $1.99 booking fee and a 3% processing fee on all orders.  To avoid these fees, GRIT does accept cash or checks.  Simply stop by our front desk or call/text and we will be happy to register you.
